The Front Yard: 3/20/16

We're checkin' the whole front of the property off the list this week.

The main reason I went out with my camera was for the ornamental cherry tree.
It is so dang pretty when it's in full bloom.
Pictures don't do it justice.

One of my favorite bulbs has also started to bloom.
The Snowflakes, aka, Leucojum.

Lungwort.

An example of my stick barriers for the bratty dog.

My new 'Heidi' Geranium found a home out there.

The old sink got three different types of radish seeds mixed in with the Cipollini onion babies.

This is what happens when you accidentally spill the package.

And last, happy hens with a new burlap liner in their window box.

I shared this on Facebook last week, but thought I'd throw it in here, too.
I got an email from the the freelance photographer who took photos of our yard last summer.
One of them ended up in the latest issue of Flea Market Outdoor.
Pretty cool, kids.
Page 100, if ya wanna check it out in the store.

We're off to the Rock Farm this morning.
It will be our first Easter celebrated there.
I can't wait for Miss Libby to get to run free.
And the kids.  ;)
Happy Easter and see y'all next week.

  4. I've dropped a whole packet of seeds so yes, your photo looks familiar. :) Leucojum is one bulb I've never grown but always wanted to. For some reason I never think about it in the fall. Beautiful cherry tree.
