50 Homemade Ornaments

When I posted last year's felt ornaments, I had mentioned that my mom has been making ornaments every year since my sister and I were kids.  In a moment of insanity, I began the same task when The Kid was a baby.

This is a roundup of some of them.  Mostly hers, but who's counting.

If you're wanting more info on how any of them were made, or what materials were used, feel free to comment here or shoot me an email.  I'm happy to answer any questions.

BIRDS

SNOWMEN

ANGELS

SNOWFLAKES

REINDEER

(This one was from my sister's family last year.  Isn't it cute?!)

CHRISTMAS TREES

BALLS

EVERYTHING ELSE

Phew.
If you're in the market for gettin' your craft on, that oughta give ya at least a couple ideas.
I'll be posting this year's ornament in a few days.

  2. I love your ornaments. Some people have all the crafting talents. Others well, not so much. That would be me. But I can enjoy your creations vicariously thanks to your delightful photos.

  10. Oh my goodness are those dog biscuit reindeer? So adorable. I am probably the biggest fan of home made ornaments you have ever met. I just love that you took up that tradition from your mom. I have been doing the same thing, but I can see I have not been nearly as productive as you have. I try to come up with 1-2 every year. I only really started getting traction about 4 years ago. But I LOVE it. Love what you have done here!!
