STOP
(..collaborate and listen...)
You know the drill.
Same as last year.
Same as last year.
If you're family, move along.
For the rest of ya, I've got pictures of this year's ornaments.
I saw the idea for the first one here.
Since I have enough corks to put an addition on the house, I figured it was a no-brainer.
I just dug through my stash for all the other goodies.
I couldn't find a glue that would hold the corks together, so I used wire to attach the legs and head to the body.
My plan was to use buttons for the ears, but decided on felt instead.
The antlers and tail are brown pipe cleaner that I had leftover from last year's reinbeer.
Here's a couple of the little critters on the tree.
They're adhesive on the back, so I stuck two, back to back, on fishing line with some beads I already had.
Here they are finished.
And on the tree.
oooh, I love them both! I bet the dagonfly really sparkles on the tree. I love that the reindeer is yet another use for all those wine works I've saved.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness how cute! Great ideas!
ReplyDeleteThese are great! I really love the dragon fly mirrored ornaments. They reflect light so well and that's my favorite. Thanks for sharing.

I love them both too. The reindeer are so cute and maybe you're overlooking a resource for your new kitchen (cork). :)
