New Blooms At The End Of June

I noticed yesterday that I had a few new things blooming in the backyard.  I bet you'll never guess what that means.  Alright, I'll tell ya.  I headed out with my camera today to take a couple pictures.

Once I was out there, I was overcome by my disease and it turned into more than a couple.  More like a couple hundred.  Good thing for you, I have no idea what I'm doing when I'm holding a camera, so the majority of those 200 get dumped into no man's land.  Where do deleted files go anyway?

Anyhoo, here's a quick leisurely tour of what's goin' on in the backyard today.

My new foxglove is blooming.

My evening primrose has flowers starting to open.
These are the most amazing color of yellow.

The lavender phlox, that was just starting to bloom a week or so ago, is now loaded with flowers.

The stoke's aster is blooming.

And it had a visitor.

My orange alstroemeria, aka Peruvian lily, is just barely starting to show color.

The iris is done, but the little zinnia is tryin' to get goin'.

The snapdragons have buds.

The lady's mantle is solid flowers.

This corner has completely filled in.

The heuchera is blooming.

My "Blackie" fuchsia.

"Dark Eyes" fuchsia.

My fountain.
We can hear it in the bedroom at night.
I love it.

And lastly, for Terry at These Peas Taste Funny, I finally have buds on my hydrangeas.
Psst, you should head over there and check out her Finally Finished post.
Her new driveway is stunning.  Plus, her little shack ain't half bad either.
If she didn't live so far away, I'd be camping out on her lawn.
