Sunflower: A Kid Lunch

It's Friday already?!  This week flew by for me.

Today's lunch wasn't planned ahead, so it came together by looking at my Kid Lunch Ideas Pinterest board, in combination with digging through the fridge.

This is what I came up with:  Peanut butter and honey sammie on whole wheat, cut into a circle for the center of the flower.  Halved grapes on top of that.  Red bell pepper for the petals.  Celery stem and cucumber leaves.  Oranges and cucumbers around the rim of the plate.

  1. So, do you ever feed the kidlets a normal boring everyday lunch and have them stare at you like you're crazy? You make THE most amazing lunches ever. I'm considering copying for hubbie. :)

  2. Aren't you the most creative lunch maker I've ever seen! Don't you just love kids' expressions when they see something fancy like this!

  3. What a fun idea. It does seem that time just flues by faster and faster! Have a nice weekend!
