Christmas Around The House

I think I need to start decorating and getting into the Christmas mind-set the first of November.  December just goes so dang fast.  By the time you get everything done, it's here and over. I want at least a couple weeks of having everything checked off the to-do list so I can just sit back and enjoy it all.  The anticipation without the craziness.  To be able to turn on some Bing, sit on the couch with a festive libation, and stare at the tree.  Yep, that's what I want.

Maybe next year.

Until then, here's some more shots of Christmas around the house. If you missed the living room, you can go here.

I'll start in the dining room.
Pretty similar to last year.

If you were around last year, you may remember the hat.
Because I was born two days before Christmas, this is the hat they sent me home from the hospital in.

The kids made these with my mom last weekend.

I actually have quite a bit crammed into the teeny tiny kitchen, but these are the only pictures that turned out and I'm too lazy to take more.

A few more of the living room, dog and all.

The hall.

The bathroom.

The kids' room.

Our bedroom and bathroom.

Baby's room.

That's all for now.
I'm so glad tomorrow is Friday.
Especially since I thought it was Friday all day today.
Our extended family has Christmas festivities this weekend and I've got a couple DIY Christmas gifts to share.
One's edible, of course.
Till then...

  2. I wonder why you ran out of room on your photo account, lol. Love it all. I marvel at how many little sprigs of this and that you have and what a great overall effect it has. You have such flare. How do you keep it all dusted?

  5. Your house looks fantastic! So festive! And while I tend towards OSU, personally, I do love that your tree is topped with a UO stocking :)
