You may recall I don't eat shrimp. I want to like it. I REALLY want to like it. But it does this weird popping thing in my mouth when my teeth break through the the skin, so I just can't do it. This marinade smelled amazing though, and I was super tempted to throw a piece of chicken or something in with the shrimp.
Ah well, The Dad and The Kids enjoyed it immensely and that's why I made it in the first place. Awww, such a nice mommy/wifey. Yeah whatever, I got cheesy garlic bread (another Pinterest recipe), pasta and salad, so I didn't make out too bad.
For the record, I took a bite. Then I did what any normal five-year-old would do and shoved a piece of bread in my mouth so I wouldn't gag.

I was completely enjoying myself until I got to that bread,....OMG, that looks amazing. I'll be keeping my eyes open for the post on that one for sure. I should go do a few laps in preparation. (ha ha ha)
