Garlic Parmesan Pull-Apart Bread

The bread you've all been waiting for, right?  I wish I could say I came up with it, but I didn't.  I stole it off Pinterest.

Normally, anytime I see a recipe with yeast in it, I run the other way.  I have a fear of yeast doughs.  I've never made one, so I think the anxiety just comes from inexperience.  I couldn't walk away from this recipe, though.  It sounded too dang good.

So I cheated.  I used frozen bread dough.  I had a one-pound loaf of Rhodes in the freezer.  I defrosted it according to the package directions, let it rise to double the size and then went to the recipe from there.

Click here to get the recipe for yourself.  TOTALLY worth it.

Here it is, coming together at my house:

The recipe calls for dried parsley.
I used Italian seasoning instead.

The balls of dough are rolled in the melted butter mixture and layered in a bundt pan.
Parmesan cheese is sprinkled between the layers.

The recipe says to make three layers of balls.
I only ended up with two, but it didn't seem to matter once it was baked.

The recipe suggested serving it with marinara for dipping, which would be really yummy as an appetizer.
We had ours with dinner and ate it as is, in all it's glory.

Deeeelicious!
I'm thinking of all the different cheeses I could use.
Mmmm, cheesy bread.

  4. O MY LORDY SAKES ALIVE, WOMAN...
This sounds like a "bring 'em to their knees" bread to me. I can't wait to try it. I use that frozen bread and rolls for ALL my bread making recipes, too..It's so good and I like the ease of it. I'm having 12 ladies over for lunch and I am going to make this wonderful bread. This, a nice salad, a knock-em-dead casserole and a killer dessert should do the trick.:)
Thanks for letting me know you posted this.
I'll look now for a SUBSCRIBE IN EMAIL to link up with you.
