It's Girl's Weekend. Every year, my mom, sister, aunt, and I head to the Rock Farm for a weekend of shoving our faces with food and sitting on our butts. Sounds terrible doesn't it?
I was trying to come up with some sort of treat I could make to take, without having to go to the store. I decided on this one.
These cereal treats are on my Dessert Pinterest board. You can find them here. Have you ever had peanut butter popcorn balls? My mom makes them every year for Halloween and I could eat them until I'm sick. These pretty much taste just like those, but with Cheerios instead of popcorn. Oh my.
I used the whole grain Cheerios, 'cause that's what I had in the house. Other than that, I stuck to the five-ingredient recipe.
Here they are, ready to eat:
The Dad said they're his new favorite.
He thought they tasted like a Payday.
Popcorn ball, Payday - whatever they taste like, they taste gooood!
I won't skip out on my Fun Food Friday post tomorrow, but after that, I'm outta here!
See ya'll next week!
