Ultrasound: 18 weeks

I had the standard 18 week ultrasound yesterday.  Everything was where it's supposed to be.  Fingers and toes all accounted for.  Heart chambers and all the rest of the details got an A+.  He turned off the monitor when he was lookin' in the nether regions so I didn't accidentally see something I didn't want to.  Turns out, baby kept it's legs closed the entire time, so I couldn't have found out the gender even if I had wanted to.  Good baby.  Now NO ONE knows.  Which means no one can slip up and say 'he' or 'she'.  It will remain The Baby from here on out.

I came home with a ton of pictures, but if you've ever seen ultrasound pics, they're pretty blurry.
I'll share anyway.  :o)

  1. How wonderful! That is so exciting. You are nearly half way there now...

My sister is having her 3rd in December some time. We are all wondering if it will be born on the 25th!

    Have a wonderful weekend!

    Best wishes,
    Natasha.

  2. so sweet! I'm always amazed when I see those wittle wegs and wittle feet. Kudos for practicing restraint. My SIL is not going to keep it a surprise also. Personally, I couldn't do it. I use to secretly unwrap my Christmas presents before Christmas. No way I could keep baby's gender secret.

  7. Shasta, I feel so bad that I can never reply to your comments 'cause your email isn't attached to your profile. :o( I never know if I reply here if someone is checking back or not.
I'm gonna keep a tally of what everyone says the gender is. :o) If food aversions mean anything, this one is a girl. I HAVE no food aversions. lol With The Kid, I was off meat pretty much the entire time. Only 20 weeks to go.....
