The kids' pot of carrots is comin' along, too.
They're mixed colored minis.
And lastly, these pots are out by the fire pit and I'm kinda loving them right now.
The ivy geranium has gone crazy with our warm weather this week and the heliotrope smells soooo good.
The combination of the yellow lantana and purple mini petunia in the other pot is just so happy.
Tomorrow's Friday!
How lucky you are to have a blueberry plant in your backyard! I love that you did a kid's pot with carrots...such a great idea! I need to do one for my daughter next summer. All of your flowers are so pretty. I especially like the purple mini petunias!
ReplyDeleteThere is something so luxurious about going in the backyard and picking fruit! This has been my best blueberry year also! I have been picking blueberries off of my 6 backyard plants almost every day since mid May! I have frozen about 12 quarts -- I have NEVER had a harvest this lush before. Enjoy your berries!
ReplyDeleteMmmm,....please send me some blueberries. :) So happy for you. How old are your plants? I must plant some this year. Maybe some raspberries while I'm at it.
ReplyDeleteOh I am so jealous! Fresh blueberries are so good! I am actually about to put some frozen (aka not fresh) ones into my smoothie...just thought you would like to know that ;)
ReplyDeleteI love your page. Am one of your newest followers.
ReplyDeleteA very hot and dry summer and I found the blueberry picking the best this year at the farm where I go. Cute pot of carrots, the tops are like ferns.
ReplyDeleteIt's only our second year with blueberries but we did get a good handful. They are still little and I hope they grow a bit taller so it's easier to "tickle" the berries into my waiting hand!
ReplyDeleteI have 2 - 2 year old blueberry bushes. One of this was full of blueberries and I watched that darn bush for weeks waiting for them! And then. The. Birds. Ate. Them. I wasn't very happy about that!! I might need nets next year. Lucky you! Stopping over from Tuesday Garden Party.
ReplyDeleteYum! I love Blueberries :) I think my bushes might be lost with the drought we are having in the Midwest this summer :(
