As of this moment, I've gotten my Google Reader down to zero new posts and I've closed the tab. I don't have a set date for reopening it, but it will be at least a few days. It's my quiet time. Time to get some things done. Or just sit with a book, which I haven't done in too long. I'll still be checking email, so I'm not off the grid. I may even get to those posts I've been meaning to write for months. Or I won't post at all. I'm playing it by ear.
Okay, enough about me, let's check out my sister's new digs. Yesterday, the crew of helpers got the Pod unloaded. We got her kitchen completely unpacked and most of those things put where they'll live - for now anyway. Today, the BIL spent all day making trips back and forth, hauling stuff they had stashed away at his mom's house. Tonight will be their first night sleeping there.
I'll start with the exterior.
It's a corner lot and the yard is awesome.
I'll have to do a yard crashers post, 'cause there's tons more to see.
Inside we go.
When they get settled, I'll get some better pictures.
In other news, Baby's first tooth poked through today.
So cute.
Check ya on the flip side.
Awwww,...about the tooth. Hope it wasn't too traumatic for everyone. Now this house,...wow, it's gorgeous isn't it. Congrats to sis and her hubby.
ReplyDeleteOh wow, I love your sister's new cottage! It's so cute and adorable!! I absolutely love the front door and all the special details that come with an older home. And the yard is beautiful! Congrats to baby on the new tooth! Enjoy your quiet time!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I love the arched doorways, yard, exterior color, pretty much everything!
ReplyDeleteYour sister must be in heaven to be settling into such a charming home! Love it, love it, love it!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your quiet time! Totally understand where you're coming from!
It has been quite a few years since I had a little one to work around :) But I still remember those days!
Your little ones might enjoy looking at the pics of my little chicks at TheMysticChicken@blogspot.com :)
I can't wait to see it live and in person!
ReplyDeleteGood for you for lightening your schedule at least a little bit, Mindy! And what a gorgeous house your sister has--those hardwood floors are lovely, and that covered patio will be a great outdoor living space--I like it a lot! Take care, and have a fantastic (hot!) weekend.
ReplyDeleteWOW! This house is seriously amazing! I'm so jealous -- historic, but it looks move in ready. That the goal for my next house :)
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing house! Such character and charm. I'm totally jealous that you get to visit it and help decorate (I'm sure!)...
