Baseball Birthday Party

Well, we've rung in another birthday.  The Girl is officially nine. NINE?!

She requested a baseball theme this time around.
I went with red, white and blue for the colors.
Here's the party in photos:

I generally keep the deco to the dining room, but The Dad decided to give the mantle a dose of the festivities.

The dining room ceiling got the usual balloons and I made a couple fabric banners to hang.

The baseball theme carried over to the food, of course.
We did brat dogs with all the fixin's for the main course.

Kraut and queso.

Gigantic pickles.

Per request, my mom made her pea salad.

Blue drink.

I don't know how I managed to not take any photos, but we had a big ol' fruit platter, too, with apples, pears, oranges, watermelon, and strawberries.
The table was loaded up with snacks and treats.

Sunflower seeds.

Chips for the queso.

Peanuts.

Cheese and butter popcorn.

Carrots with ranch and hummus.

A baseball cheese ball.

Some mixed candy.

White chocolate covered sandwich cookies.

Rice krispies treats.

Annnnd, the birthday cake.

Kid pics.

Present time.

Time for cake.

The goods on the inside.

And there ya go.
Another year and another party theme under our belts.
