We put our house on the market Thursday, June 8th.
We sent Libby Lou to stay with the neighbor, and lived out of our car for four days, so that it could be available to show whenever anyone wanted to see it, including two open houses.
On Sunday, June 11th, we accepted an offer.
We are officially scrambling to find our new home.
I'm doing my very best to not freak out.
Ha!
The right one will come along, hopefully before they kick us out.
Today is the last day of school for the kiddos, so we can concentrate on packing up our life and moving on to the next chapter.
Here's to a summer full of new adventures!
Packing... oh boy. That's not fun but at least the kids are old enough to help out. I'm so excited for you and this new adventure.
ReplyDeleteI want to tell you that the worst is over (the showings) but I'm not sure if the packing part is any better.
ReplyDeleteI just sold my first home in April and bought a house in May. And I solemnly swear to never move again as long as I can help it. But I found what I think is the perfect home and I love it. Hope it works out for you guys, can't wait to see how you decorate and garden in the new place you find.
Good luck! How exciting! I knew it would sell fast. I hope you find your dream home (and garden).
ReplyDeleteHey stranger!! I'm so glad I stopped by. You came to mind today, so I thought I'd see what you have going on in your garden this year.
ReplyDeleteAnd then I saw this post . . .
You're moving!?! Where are you headed to?
Looking forward to seeing where ya head!
