Everything is filling in.
We've been eating a ton of lettuce, quite a few snap peas, although they're lookin' like they're done with the heat, basil, mint, and chives.
Miss Daisy, the tortoise, has eaten all the broccoli, so far.
The rest is comin' along.
I even have baby green tomatoes and a squash flower opened today.
Yay!
The new barrels are planted and thriving.
The raspberry that I put in the ground, after being in a pot for several years, died all the way back.
I have no clue why.
But it's comin' back from the base.
The taters seem to be happy.
I need to get some more dirt up around them.
The green beans are blooming, the Sage is threatening to take over the trough, and I've got Sunflowers and volunteer Cosmos filling in the gaps.
OH, and look at the elephant garlic I harvested!
Pretty flippin' exciting.
On the other side of the driveway, the Hydrangea is starting to bloom.
And my ten dollar sink, that I rattle canned black, got filled with annuals.
And that's what's happening in the driveway.
Parking strip will be up next.
Your garden is vigorous, bright and beautiful. I would love to see Miss Daisy, the tortoise who ate all the broccoli.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Cat! I'll definitely throw some pictures of Daisy in a post! :)
DeleteLooking great, Mindy girl! Vegetable gardening in containers is the way to go. I'm glad your berry plant is coming back.
