Well hello there!
Yes, it's true, we have our first teenager in the house.
How that's even possible, I have no clue.
He chose to celebrate with dinner at home, which was fine by me.
Pasta, artichokes, cheese fondue and bread.
We had our usual family celebration here yesterday with more food than we needed, of course, and several hours of cousin time.
Mellow and laid back, just like him.
In other news, I HAVE A LAPTOP!!!!
I was graciously gifted a hand-me-down from none other than Danger Garden herself.
This is the first time I've sat down to mess around with it.
Trying to figure out how to get my photos, now that Picasa is no more, took way longer than I would have liked, but I think I'm officially up and running.
I still need to find the cord for my camera....I haven't seen it since we moved...but it's gotta be around here somewhere.
In a "safe" place, no doubt.
There's so much to catch up on! A year a half worth of photos. Ha!
Spring is trying to come early around these parts, so I best be gettin' my inside projects started before I transition to 12 hour days in the dirt.
Looking forward to documenting our second year in the garden on the ol' blog.
Oh! I updated my sidebar with all our new critters...and my new age. Blah.
Until next time......
Oh, goody! Rindymae is up and running...I couldn't be happier for you! Danger Garden rocks. Woo hoo, looking forward to some good long posts from you, Mindy! xo
ReplyDeleteYAY!!!! I'm so glad you're back, I hope it's not causing you too much stress, that old brick.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great gift from Loree, so glad to see that you're back. Congrats (I guess) on having a teenager in the house, my son is now in his 30s but I well remember when he was a teen and I don't envy you those hormones and mood swings.
ReplyDeleteSo happy to have you back!!
ReplyDeleteTotally cool! Kudos to kindness of Danger Garden!
ReplyDeleteHuzzah☆a teenager! There is something special in that last moment when a person steps from one dimension of life to the next and that brief pause as you go.. from child to adult.. that brief but exhaustable moment in time.. sigh! Happy Birthday young man! May all your days be filled with goodness, your nights filled with gentle rest and your heart filled with love!!
So good to see you back in blogland! Looking forward to all of your "ramblings".
