The Backyard: 2/19/16

I've got some random happenings from around the backyard in today's post.  It's still super wet, so as eager as I am to start moving things around, I'm using willpower to wait until the ground dries out a bit more.

I need to get out with my bait.
I had to pull a slug off this poor guy before taking the pictures.
Yes, he died.

More of the little daffodils have started to bloom.

I moved my birthday stake outside.

The Bleeding Hearts are comin' along and I even spied some buds this weekend.

The willows are all starting to show green.

My favorite little Barberry is brightenin' up the joint.

The monster Hellebore is finally in full bloom.

As is Maddie girl's Hellebore.

And that's the latest out back.
I'm ready for a load of compost!

  1. Hi Mindy, I love the pink shade of the Hellebores. I actually purchased a plant at Lowe's the other day. It looks like it will have nice year round foliage. Btw, I wanted to ask you if you're seeing any Impatiens glandulifera seedlings yet. They're popping up all over my garden. If you're not sure what they look like, let me know and I'll send a photo.

  2. Oh I like that barberry..does it have a specific name? Love seeing spring flowers πŸ˜ƒ I am hoping we have a early spring here in Northeast Ohio. Will those hellebores bloom all Spring and Summer? Do you spread compost on all your flower beds?

  5. CarX Street Mod APK is an unofficial modified version of CarX Street that claims to unlock cars, unlimited money, or extra features. Although these modded files may look appealing, they are not supported by the official developers and can pose security risks, account issues, or performance instability when downloaded from untrusted sources. Many players prefer to follow a proper CarX Street Android guide to learn how to install the game, optimize graphics settings, and tune cars for better racing performance on mobile devices.
