This is not a recipe post. This is a public service announcement. Go here. Make this. I'll be taking monetary donations as a thank you.
My waffle maker isn't reliable, so I used frozen.
The waffle recipe in the link has green onions, cheddar, and bacon in it.
I know.
Because my store-bought waffles had none of that, I did a third coating on my chicken.
I used a mix of bread crumbs, panko and cheddar, after the double-flour dunk.
Yep.
To get the bacon and green onion in there, I just piled them on the sandwich.
Uh-huh.
Even if you aren't gonna make this sandwich (why?!?!) you should go look at the post.
Hands down my favorite food blogger.
He doesn't post very often, but when he does, holy mother.
His pictures will make you cry.
I want to be his friend.
And eat his food.
Here's my, nowhere-near-as-amazing-to-look-at, version.
Seriously, go scroll through his post.
And see if you can walk away without thinking about his sandwich, all day long.
Then, go to the home page.
Make a mental note of those fry bread breakfast tacos.
Fry. Bread. Tacos.
Please see my sidebar for the parties I link up to.
You are amazing! This sandwich looks like the best one I have seen I a LONG time! Man you should have a restaurant or something!!! Your food is just way to beautiful not to be tasted by folks like me!!! Happy Hump Day!!! Nicole xoxo
ReplyDeleteI don't know what to think about a waffle sandwich. I guess I had better try it and then decide.
ReplyDeleteI was totally unaware of this blog, and I just got sucked right in--you weren't kidding his photos and recipes are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI love savory waffles. I bet his waffle recipe would be awesome all by themselves for breakfast or dinner. I'd be tempted to put some gravy on my chicken waffle sammie too. Thanks for sharing .
