Frozen Birthday Party

My niece turned four over the weekend and they had a party at their house with a Disney Frozen theme.  Of course.  My brother-in-law was at it again in the pinata department.  This is his third. The first one he did was for my nephew's Lego Party and then he did another one last year for his Super Mario Party.  This year, he busted out Olaf.  It was a little sad to see him get beat to pieces. Poor Olaf.

Here's the day in photos:

Olaf, in all his glory.
And yes, he was as big as he looks.

Wasn't he cute?!

To decorate the cupcakes, my sister bought sheets of fondant at Michael's and cut snowflakes out of it with a paper punch.
Then she made little toppers out of paper print-outs and toothpicks.

And, as always, there was tons of food.
Veggie platter with ranch and brie with apples and crackers for apps.

Lemonade for the kiddos.

For dinner, they made fixin's for pulled pork sammies, corn on the cob, fruit salad, and mac n' cheese.

My brother-in-law's mom made Pancit and Arroz Caldo, both Filipino dishes.
My kids could put away an entire 9 x 13 pan of the Pancit.
No joke.

The pancit is noodles, veggies and ground pork.

The Arroz Caldo is like a chicken and rice porridge.
You sprinkle saffron, green onion, and fried garlic on top.
Good stuff.

After dinner, the kids played, Pin The Nose On Olaf.

Family hung out, after most of the party people had gone home, to watch the Blazer game.
We headed out after the second half with our puking child.
I don't know how I managed to not get a single photo of the birthday girl.
I'll have to update the post when my brother-in-law sends me his pics.
Anyway, it was a good day for a very happy four-year-old.

Update:  Here's the birthday girl, plus other people pics that my brother-in-law took.
I can always count on him to pick up my human photo slack.

Please see my sidebar for the parties I link up to.

That Olaf pinata is beyond cool...pun intended! When you come to our house to be my private chef, you may also do my party planning. Good with you?
