For Mommy

There are days as a stay-at-home-mom that you want to pack a duffel bag and run away forever. Okay, maybe just the weekend. But then one of the little monsters does this:

At the most recent head count, my house consisted of The Mom (that would be me), The Dad, The Kid, The Girl, Baby, Libby Lou The Border Collie, Leroy Jenkins Brown The City Cat, Oscar The Barn Cat, Daisy The Tortoise, Jewels and Poppy The Parakeets, Rosie and Cocoa The Cows, Leonard and Delilah The Turkeys, Jackson and Elsa The Donkeys, Pride The Horse, and White Goat and Black Goat The Goats.
