Different versions of these are floatin' around the internet. I had this one pinned to my Shopping and Gifts Pinterest Board, so it's the one I used for inspiration.
I found a big piece of poster board for .99 cents at Walgreen's and then just trolled the candy aisle with a list of what I wanted to use. I layed everything out, first, then lightly wrote the words in pencil, to make sure it would all fit. I went back with a Sharpie and the kids used double-stick tape to attach the candy.
Here's this year's Father's Day card from the kiddos:
Cute an' easy, right?
Happy Father's Day to all the daddies out there.
My sister and I are sending the boys on an adventure.
It's our city's version of The Amazing Race.
They're either gonna love us, or hate us, when it's all said and done. :)
I'll let ya know how it goes.
That is so cute! I love it and will be stealing it for next Father's Day.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea--love it!
ReplyDeleteMindy, I love this idea! I had never seen the card version of the candy bar names...but I have played a fun baby-shower game where you come up with candy names for baby things/themes (i.e. nursing=milky way)
